Large picture glued with glue ment for wood

If you find it difficult to mount large pictures with limark (double-sided tape) is here an alternative way to make big pictures. The drawbacks of this method is that the glue can dry too much, so that the beads can come loose. Therefore, I have sometimes used picture frames with glass.
First, I find a subject, which I like. If I want to change something, I do it in my usual imageprogram.
Motif
You can determine the size of the picture first, or do as I usually do, choose the size of a frame I already have.
With the PhotoPearls program, you can get the pattern in exactly the size you want.
This picture is 145 beads wide and 101 beads high.
When all the pegboards are laid, I put them on a stady backboard.
Motif on a steady board
On the board that should be the back, I put glue ment for wood or plastic. Back with glue
Then I use a small pegboard to make the glue even.

Then I put the back on the motif.
Back
On top of the back, I put another solid board. Ovanpå baksidan lägger jag en likadan stadig skiva, som den som ligger underst.

Then, it is best to have help in turning it around.
Before the glue has dried, I lift the pegboards and fix whatever may have been wrong.
Almost finished work
When all the pegboards are taken away you can admire your masterpiece.
